She was predeceased by: her parents, James Houston and Katherine Tomlinson Merritt; and her brother James Merritt. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Quattlebaum; her daughters, Kelly Quattlebaum, Christy Brightbill (Kelly) and Michelle Daniel (Jason); her siblings, Debra Lynn Merritt, Wayne Merritt and Ronnie Merritt; and her grandchildren, Parker Daniel, Merritt Daniel, Ava Brightbill and Kate Brightbill.
