She was predeceased by: her parents, Avis Self and Luella Holt Self; and her brothers, Loyd Self of Locust Fork and Dwight Self of Locust Fork. She is survived by: her husband Floyd "Slick" Blackwood; her sons, Frankey Blackwood of Locust Fork and Kerry Blackwood (Cynthia) of League City, Texas; her granddaughters, Brittney Edwards (Bobby) of Locust Fork, Tori Veach (Daniel) of Friendswood and Kayla Johns (Cole) of League City, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Alexander, Noah Edwards of Locust Fork, Brayden Veach of Friendswood and Brody Russell of League City.
In lieu of flowers her family requests donations be made to the Locust Fork Baptist Church benevolence fund.
