He was predeceased by: his wife Margie Jane Davis Yager; his son Rhett Yager; his siblings, George, Shirley and Bernice; and his parents, Ethel Inez Yager and George Yager.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Yager, Greg Yager (Barbara) and Shannon Yager; his grandchildren, Braxton Yager (Kayla) and Sierra Yager; his daughter-in-law Windy Cranford; and his brother Terry Yager (Caroline). He is also survived by several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A committal service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
