He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ed Burgess, Sr. and Annie Inez Thomas Burgess; and his brother Thomas Edward Burgess (Tommy). He is survived by: his cousin Jac; his brother Gillham James Burgess (Debbie); his aunt Peggy Holt (Frank); and his cousin Jackie Lanninham (Paula). He is also survived by nephews, nieces and friends.
