He is survived by: his wife Betty Mullins Thomas; his children, Darron Thomas (Dana) and Angie Armstrong (Gregg); his grandchildren, Molly Thomas Weems (Ryan), Hannah Armstrong and Charlie Armstrong; and his pet Skipper.
