He is survived by: his father Clair Franks; his brother Clair Franks III (Toni); his brother-in-law Brent Taylor; and his nieces and nephews, Mackenzie Taylor, Amelia Taylor, Kieran Taylor, Ava Franks and Julia Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in his memory to honor his sister.
