He is survived by: his wife Barbara Vann Owen; his children, David Junior Owen (Lindsey) and Elizabeth Owen Jawahreh (Hani); his sister Lillie Dailey (Newton); and his grandchildren, Courtney Raegan Owen, Selena Cher Jawahreh, Brody Alexander Owen, Ava Elizabeth Ward and Zoey Leigh Ward. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
