She was predeceased by: her husband T. J. Maddox; her parents, Arvie Manuel Strickland and Cleona Sorrells Strickland; and her sister Eloise Lundy. She is survived by: her children, Sherrill Geohagan of Lockhart and Bruce Maddox (Lori) of Florala; her grandchildren, Laura Strickland (Jim), Jennifer Jordan (J. T.), Erica Ellis (Joseph), Justin Maddox (Nicloe) and Caleb Maddox; and her sister Gennell Smith (Junior).
