He is survived by: his children, LaDonna Mink of Montgomery and Synetta Smith (Scott) of Prattville, Alabama; and his sister Anne Reece (Larry) of Whitestone, Georgia. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
