It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Miller Hitchcock in Livingston, Alabama, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Claire Sheffield Hitchcock and Matthew C. Hitchcock (Jack); and her brother Harry C. Hitchcock. She is survived by: her brother Matthew H. Hitchcock, Sr. (Jack); her nieces, Gwendolyn Hitchcock Miles (Rod) and Jennifer Hitchcock Hadley (Andrew); her nephew Matthew H. Hitchcock, Jr. (Tabetha); her great-niece Emerson Hadley; her great-nephews, River Hadley, Reid Miles, Kevin Miles, Rick Miles, Benjamin Hitchcock and Jacob Hitchcock; her cousins, Blanche Spinks and Henry Agee; and also, Katie Spinks, James Spinks, Clay Agee and Nelson Agee.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Children's Harbor, 1 Our Children's Highway, Alexander City, AL 35010, which Jane strongly supported, or to the charity of your choice.
