She is survived by: her husband Leslie "Bud" Nixon, Jr.; her daughters, Louise Lynn Nixon (Christine Amen) of Winston-Salem, NC and Peggy Nixon Hawley (Chris) of Livingston, AL.; and her grandsons, David Hawley (Byrne) and Hunter Hawley (Kristin). She is also survived by five great-grandsons.
