He was predeceased by: his father Edward Clyde Godwin (Myrtle Ledkins); his wife June Godwin; and his brothers, Kenneth Godwin and Douglas Godwin. He is survived by: his sons, Jason Godwin of Bay Minette, AL and William S. Godwin (Tammy) of Little River, AL; his sisters, Ellen Lowery of Atmore, AL and Judy Godwin of Stockton, AL; his granddaughter Emily Godwin of Little River, AL; and his great grandchildren, Raiden Risher and Emma Risher.
