It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mother L. G. Jones Grant (Lisman, Alabama), who passed away on March 23, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Charlie Ed Grant, Jr.; her siblings, Quincy Jones, Tommie Jones and Martha Ann Johnson; her grandsons, Willie Ed Grant, Jr. and Brian Levelle Grant; her mother L. G.; her children, Geneva Crowell (Thomas) of Yantley, AL, Willie Grant (Bessie), Ruthie Grant, Earnest Grant (Irena) and Mary Ann Grant; and her daughter-in-law Mary Merrida Grant of Lisman, AL. She was also cherished by twelve grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; eleven great- great grandchildren.
