She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Collins and Elner Collins; and her brother Preston Collins, Jr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Rose Harbin (Levorn) of Butler, Ala, Josephine Spear (Arthur) of Killeen, Texas, Patricia Ross (Sellie) of Detroit, Michigan, Anthony Collins of Butler, Ala, Pastor Claude Collins (Janet) of Meridian, Mississippi and Calvin Collins (Thomasena) of Birmingham, Ala; her godsons, Dykerrious Ruffin of Lisman, Ala and Malcom Walker of Forrest, Mississippi; her aunt Dorothy Dickerson of Mobile, Ala; her great-aunts, Effie Johnson of Butler, Ala and Velma Collins of Indiana; and her uncles, William Jackson (Barbara) of Butler, Ala and Robert Jackson of Louisiana. She is also survived by four nephews, eleven nieces, nine great-nephews, nine great-nieces; and a host of cousins and friends.
