It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carnell Keeton (Lisman, Alabama), who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Will Ruffin and Lucy Ruffin; and her brothers, Alex of Willie Pleas, J. W., Joe Lee and James Ray.
She is survived by : her brother Sanders Ruffin of Meridian, MS; her aunt Mary Curtis of Missouri; her sisters-in-law, Clara Ruffin of Meridian, MS, Sarah West of Mobile, AL, Gloriastein Ruffin of Illinois and Sarah Ruffin of Illinois; her niece Tina Mays (Kenny) of Butler, AL; and her friend Jimmy Reed of Meridian, MS. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
