He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hayden Gaither and Essie Sims Gaither; and his sisters, Gladys Campbell and Jewel Farr. He is survived by: his wife Karen Henderson Gaither; and his children, Roger Gaither of Isle, Heather Thompson (Ricky) of Mellow Valley, AL, Amanda Lumpkin (Jeff) of Oxford, AL, Andrea Dean (Daniel) of Prattville, AL and Angela Deitch (Dave) of Niceville, FL. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
