It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sara H. Shaddix of Lineville, Alabama, born in Clay, Alabama, who passed away on January 19, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Marvin Horn and Julia Almeda McMcath; and her siblings, Helen Smith, James and Frank Horn.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie McDonald (William) and Jeff Byars (Sharon) of Lineville; and her grandchildren, Ashley McRae (Rick), Joseph Byars (Katie) and Molly Byars. She is also survived by four great grandchildren, plus other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to Hospice of Clay County, or the New Harmony Christian Church/Cemetery Fund.
