He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ceborn McDonald and Vernell Nolen McDonald; and his siblings, Mildred Messer, Linda McVey, Cleon McDonald and Billy Joe McDonald.
He is survived by: his children, Tabitha Cail of Columbus, GA and Phillip McDonald of Phenix City; his grandsons, Ethan Cail and Liam McDonald; and his brother Winford McDonald (JoAnna) of Lineville.
