He is survived by: his wife Michelle Moncus Thrift; his children, Colby Thrift (Danielle) of Sedalia, MO and Kirstie Thrift of Section, AL; his granddaughters, Juliet Lee Thrift and Kaylee Jayne Talley; and his brother Scott Thrift (Jennifer) of Notasulga, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
