He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank McCleiver Johnson and Lena Elizabeth Chandler Johnson; his wife Georgia Annabelle Jarvis Johnson; and his brother Frank James Johnson. He is survived by: his daughter Beth Johnson Brown (Dave) of Lineville; his stepchildren, Deborah Jarvis Blickenstaff (Bill) of Greenville, SC and Daniel Jarvis of Charleston, SC.; his grandchildren, James Blickenstaff, Johnnathon Kring and Theresa Jarvis; his great grandchild Tyler Dennis; and his nieces, Dr. Christine Hunter (Jairy) and Denise Schaffner (Gary).
