She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Valentine and Beula Jo Todd Brown; her husband Tony Nelson; and her siblings, Teresa Brown and Gary Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Heather Treadwell (Jamie) of Roanoke, Scott Stewart (April) of Wadley, Doyle Stewart (Alicia) of McDonough, GA and Heath Stewart of Roanoke; her stepson Daniel Nelson of Birmingham; and her brother Wayne Brown (Sandra) of Franklin, GA.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
