He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Mitchell Bishop of Lineville; his son Douglas Bishop (Jonell) of Lineville; his grandson Justin Bishop (Brandi) of Lineville; his great grandchildren, Madilyn Bishop and Ansley Bishop; and his brother Billy Bishop of Albany, GA..
