She was predeceased by: her father Willie Floyd of Birmingham; and her brother Steven Derrick Mays. She is survived by: her mother Priscilla Ann Seymore Mays of Birmingham; her children, Rashard Lamont Taylor Jr., Chakhyla Nykeunta Taylor, D'Ashai Zykia Taylor and Keshun Jamal Taylor; her grandson Keshun Jamal Taylor Jr.; her sister Tamara Swane McGuire (Darrell); her nephew Jahlen Zekorey Mays; and her niece Zykhila Nychiante Reliford. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
