It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim E. Gates of Lineville, Alabama, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, Annette Hughes of Northport, Scott Gates (Shelley) of Roanoke and Barry Gates of Talladega. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
