She was predeceased by: her parents, John Madison Pitts, Sr. and Irma B. Gamel Pitts; and her siblings, Patricia Mintz, John Pitts, Jr. and Jessie Pitts.
She is survived by: her children, Tess S. Scott of Lineville, Kathy Headrick (Ray) of Lineville, Larry J. Smith (Sabrina) of Lineville and Roy Smith (Jodie) of Durango, CO; and her siblings, Lovella Nunnally, Martha Sue Ginn Middleton, Monzia Foshee and Jimmy W. Pitts. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.
