He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny East and Ina Lee McKay East; his son David East; his grandson Trey Young; and his sister Janice Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Rozell Yates East of Lineville; his children, Ramona Diamond (Bradley) of Roanoke, Richard Forte (Christy) of Lineville and Robert Forte (Gina) of Lineville; his grandchildren, Kasey Clark (Adam), Kayla Garcia (Jeremy), Benjamin Diamond, Emilee Diamond, Jordan Howard, Colton Diamond (Samantha) and Addison Belcher; his great grandchildren, Addison, Evan, Rebekah, Annabelle, Rhett, Charlotte, Dakota and Abigail; and his sister Kathy East of McDonough, GA.
