He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Buford Baker and Ressie Jewel Dingler Baker; and his siblings, Deborah Baker, Dwight and Earl Baker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Childers (Keith) of Oxford and Heather Nash (Teryn) of Anniston; his granddaughter Gabrielle Robershaw; his stepgranddaughter Rozalyn Nash; his siblings, Dorothy Dickson of Guin and George Baker of Wetumpka; and his close friend Kathy Carr of Coleta Valley.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Millerville Baptist Church (255 School House Rd, Ashland, AL 36251).
