He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvie Ray and Elaine K. Ray of Linden, AL.. He is survived by: his children, Casey Ray (Jennifer), Amanda Ray (Michael), Mary Ruth Parr (Joe), Rachel Ray, Maggie Ray and Danielle Ray; and his siblings, Teresa McLellan, Anita Thornhill (Eddie), Al Ray (Christina) and Eva Shadwrick (Ronnie). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
