It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Riley Stone of Linden, Alabama, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Tina M. Bower. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Faye Smith Stone; and his children, John A. Stone (Schella), Shelia R. Norris (Snuffy), Lisa S. Jones (Norman) and Pamela D. Bowden. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Integrity, honesty, kindness, generosity and most important charity were not just words to him but a way of life.
