He was predeceased by: his parents, Harden Hale and Jettie Lee Hale. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Frances Hale; his children, Kent Alan Hale, Karl Edmond Hale and Frances Karen Hale; and his brother Mitchel Hale. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
