We bid farewell to Bertha Adams of Linden, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 22, 2025 at the age of 104. Bertha touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Bertha may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bertha touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Leanord and Lelia Elizabeth Megginson Goodman; her husband Fred Adams; her daughter Cherry Etheridge Glass; and her son-in-law James Aubrey Buster Glass.
She is survived by: her grandson Darren Glass (Tammy); her great grandchildren, Taylor Glass (Meagan) and Clayton Glass (Brooke); and her great great grandchildren, Aubrey Glass and Win Glass.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Myrtlewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or The Gideons International.
