It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avery O. Segers Jr. of Linden, Alabama, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery O. Segers, Sr. and Lois C. Segers. He is survived by: his wife Justine M. Segers; his daughters, Cynthia Segers Dukes (Mike), Sharon Segers Sledge (Will) and Cheryl Segers Osborne (George); his sisters, Phyllis Vaughan and Lois Ellen Maxwell; his grandchildren, Lindsay Wilkinson (Eric), Hillary Harrington (Mike), Morgan Avery Griffith, Mandy Seale (Benton) and William Sledge (Ashlyn); and his great grandchildren, Elly Wilkinson, Everley Wilkinson, Joshua Harrington, Michael Harrington, Kaitlyn Harrington, Logan Harrington, Wallace Sledge, Maddie Sledge, Sawyer Seale and Houston Seale. He is also survived by three nephews and one niece.
