He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Emory and Norma Joyce Bell Dean. He is survived by: his spouse Carna Bresley; his daughter Tiffany Dean; his grandchildren, Haley Ulm and Zachery Ulm; and his siblings, Derwin Dean (Donna Jones), Rodney Dean (Teresa) and Gail Stephens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
