He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Laura Maxwell Spears; his children, Nathan Spears of Lincoln, Joshua Spears (Melanee) of Lincoln and William Spears (Jennifer) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Tiffanie Spears, Frances Spears, Kyla Spears and Tyler Spears; his great grandchild Addison Forsythe of Jaxon Spears; his stepgrandchildren, Dakota Denham (Olivia), Hannah Denham, Haylee Fults and Kendall Fults; his stepgreat-grandchild Peanut; his siblings, Patsy Conner of Atlanta, Deborah Williams of Anniston, Marshall, Sonny and Ralph Gentry (Glenda) of Bynum; and his nephew Marc Williams.
