We bid farewell to Margaret Bowen of Lincoln, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 28, 2024. Though Margaret may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Margaret touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. H. Upton and Viler Roan Upton; and her husband Hoyt T. Bowen, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Danny Wayne Bowen (Terri) of Lincoln, AL and Robert Paul Bowen (Becky) of Lincoln, AL; and her sister Linda U. Jordan (Jim) of Cragford. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be house plants or donations may be made to the Clay County Nursing Home in Ashland, AL, in her memory.
