It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Lee Cornelius of Lincoln, Alabama, born in Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on July 6, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Annie Lee Wilson and Robert Solon Wilson; her siblings, Peggy Graves, Martha Tilley, Shirlie Drake, Arthur Wilson (Ann) and Bobby Wilson; her children, Carol Purgahn (Chad), Jack Cornelius and Mike Cornelius; her grandchildren, Michael Scott (Natosha), Heath Purgahn (Melissa), Danielle Scott, Anna Roberts (Nate) and Jordan Crane (Allen); her great grandchildren, Holland Platts, Madilyn Roberts, Hallie Scott, Haddon Purgahn, Brantley Purgahn and Lyla Purgahn; and her sister Ann Wilson. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
