He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Carlisle and Margie Carlisle; and his siblings, Johnnie Calhoun, Mary Wilda Carlisle, Jacqueline Howard and Charles Carlisle.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Lambert Carlisle; his daughters, Lisa Carlisle Kelly (Brian) and Bobbie Lynn Carlisle Phillips (Bill); and his grandchildren, Austin Phillips, Grayson Phillips (Summer Earle) and John Kelly. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to Eastaboga Baptist Church, 107 Church Ln., Eastaboga, AL 36260.
