She was predeceased by: her husband J. D. Brittain, Sr.; her parents, Wiley Grubbs and Brady Grubbs; and her siblings, Alberta Fant, Pauline Mitchell, Taylor Grubbs, Meldon Grubbs, Judy Hebson and Troy Grubbs.
She is survived by: her sons, Dick Brittain (late Vicki) of Orange Beach, Dennis Brittain (Melanie) of Athens, GA and Tim Brittain (Betsy) of Lillian, AL; her grandchildren, Rebecca Frey (Tim) of Macon, GA, Taylor Boudreaux (Sean) of Athens, GA, Ian Brittain (Macy) of Birmingham, AL, Collin Brittain (Cara) of Opelika, AL, Jenna Black (Joe) of St. Louis, MO, Emily Dieguez (Carlo) of Birmingham, AL and Margaret Ann of Birmingham, AL; her great grandchildren, Jonah Brittain, Abel Brittain, Charlie Dieguez and Carlo Dieguez; and her brother Fred Grubbs.
