She was predeceased by: her parents, John George Schwertmann and Rose Doneff Schwertmann. She is survived by: her husband Harold E. Shockley of Lillian, AL; her daughters, Barbara Mindak (Tom) of High Ridge, MO and Laura Donaldson (Matthew) of Godfrey, IL; her stepdaughters, Vicky Knott of Lillian, AL, Carolyn Mitchell of Waterloo, IL, Dawn Onanian of Cedar Hill, MO and Lorie Cotton of Affton, MO; and her sisters, Susan Burmeister (Joe) of Granite City, IL and Marilyn Humphreys (Robert "Skip") of Bloomington, IL. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
