She is survived by: her husband David D. Swift, Sr.; her parents, Frazier Howie and Doug Howie; her sibling Thomas O'Ferrall Howie, Sr.; her stepchildren, Ida Ross Hicks (Brad) and David D. Swift, Jr. (Laurie); and her nephews, Griffith Howie and Thomas Howie, Jr.. She is also survived by five beautiful grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Church of the Advent or any favorite charity.
