She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Lowe and Betty Lowe; and her son David Dempsey. She is survived by: her husband Russell Dempsey; her daughter Kim Frank (DJ); her grandchildren, Jordan (Bridget), Conner Frank, Teah Brown (JR) and Chaz Dempsey; and her great grandchild Meah Kelly.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
