He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Lovell; his sister Elizabeth Lovell; and his uncles, Tommy Roberts, Roger Dale Roberts and Thurston Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Roberts; his children, Matthew Hicks and Charlenda Hicks; his grandchildren, Serenity Bunton, Jacob Bunton, Mason Murphy and Chance Hicks; and his siblings, Ruthie Pace and Andrew Lovell.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elkins East Chapel (7435 US-72, Killen, AL 35645). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
