He is survived by: his wife Betty Hammond Scott; his children, Gerald Scott (Amy) and Janet Davis (Kevin); his siblings, Mitchell Scott and Shelby Scott Rutledge; his grandchildren, Andrea White (Nick), Lily Baker and Whitlee Baker; and his pet Daisy.
