She was predeceased by: her parents, John Birchfield and Sally Birchfield (Lee); her siblings, Lawson, Alton, Samuel, Leona and Nell; her former husband James E Daye; her daughter Carrol; her granddaughter Danielle; and her son James E "Jimmie" Daye.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Cole Baker, Ryan Higgins, Jamie Ahlander, Wade Baker, Garrett Baker and Tyde Bagwell; her husband James O "Jim" Raymond of Lexington; her stepchildren, David, Dane of Louisiana, Jason of Georgia and Wendy Fowler (Raymond) of Pace, Florida; and her daughter Gayle Gladden (Daye) of Huntsville. She is also survived by four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
