He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Ruby Mae Simpson Thigpen; his children, Jason Hankins (Heather), Jimmy "Bubba" Hankins (Wendy), Kim Terrell (Phil) and Melissa Murks (Phillip); his siblings, Kenneth Holden (Gail), Connie Sue Spurlock (Howard) and Stella Ann Gray (Harold); his sister-in-law Nelda Holden; his father Lenice "Houston" Holden; and his stepfather William Thigpen Wife. He was also cherished by Grandchildren and (2) great-grandchildren.
