She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“I am so sad to learn of Kaye's passing. Over the years we lost touch but as a cousin, I have fond memories of all the Sunday afternoons and times we spent together as young children running through the fields and woods surrounding Aunt Mabel's house. My Mom and aunt Mabel were very close as all the Hood sisters were. I know Kaye will be missed by her brothers and sisters, her children and grandchildren.
