She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold Ray Scott; her parents, Horace Clellon Murks and Mattie Bell Green Murks; and her siblings, Eugene Murks, Horace Clellon Murks, Jr., James Robert Murks, Martha Nell Newton and Joyce Ann Thigpen.
She is survived by: her son Arnie Scott (Debbie) of Lexington, Alabama; her brothers, Paul David Murks of Alabama and Donnie Murks of Alabama; her grandchildren, Tiffany Hale of Killen, AL, Justine Farley of Reno, NV and Taylor Scott of Lexington, AL; and her great grandchildren, Ayden Hale, Harper Hale, Levi Farley, Theo Farley and Briar Scott.
