We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2023, at the age of 69, Betty Marie Newton Woody of Lexington, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Newton and Lura Mae Cottrell Newton; and her brothers, Bobby Eugene Woody, III, Steven Michael Woody, Terry Collier, Keith Hunt and Jeremiah Gibbs.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Eugene Woody; her sons, Bobby Eugene Woody III (Taniya) and Steven Michael Woody (Elizabeth); her sister Verna Sue Collier Sheffield; and her granddaughters, Amelia Lynn, Jayne Honor and Alice Kate.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Feeding Ministry at Lexington First Baptist.
