He was predeceased by: his siblings, Kenneth Butler, W. P. Butler, Charles Butler, Wayne Butler, Edith Butler, Agnus Mason and Darlene Carriveau.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Cox Butler; his daughter Julie Butler (Jeff Carter); his grandchildren, Zane Hall, Abby White (Eli) and Lela Hall; and his sisters, MaeJean Hughes and Nadean Lemay (Hulet). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Lauderdale County Christian Children's Home.
