He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Casey Slaton and Frances Raye Hunt Slaton (Hunt). He is survived by: his wife Mary Slaton (Becky); his siblings, Motheatis Downs, Toni Hamley, Della Griffin, Casey Slaton (Kennetha) and Mark Slaton (Brooke); his children, Chris Slaton (Amanda), Steve Robinson (Linda), Kelli Slaton and Tammy Wrape (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Dylan Cottles, Kennedy Slaton, Bailee Robinson, Preston Robinson, Jordan Wrape (Lisa) and Allison Lacour (Drew); and his great grandchildren, Noah Cottles, Brendan Lacour and Camille Wrape.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Cemetery (523 US-31, Athens, AL 35611).
